 Ruslan Asadov, a recipient of the State Program in the Doctor of Philosophy in Law program at Swansea University, one of the United Kingdom's prestigious universities, delivered a lecture to students and faculty at Western Caspian University. Asadov, who earned his master’s degree at Western Caspian University, spoke about the evolution of "Data Monitoring: fundamentals, key topics, and state mechanisms."

 

In his lecture, Ruslan Asadov provided a comprehensive overview of the legal and social importance of data surveillance, highlighting the main stakeholders and the mechanisms established by the state in this area. He specifically emphasized the significance of the legal framework governing data surveillance, the state’s responsibilities concerning information security, and the critical role of foundational elements in safeguarding data privacy. Asadov also responded to participants' questions, sharing practical examples from the United Kingdom alongside in-depth theoretical insights on the topic.
