International lecture was held at Western Caspian University

A lecture on “Application of brain disorders on zebra fish models” was held by Allan V. Kaluev as part of the International Winter Lecture at Western Caspian University.

During the lecture, the importance and advantages of “zebra fish models“ in the field of brain disorders and the study of these disorders were explained in detail.

 

Professor Allan V. Kaluev emphasized that this species is an excellent model for monitoring biological processes in the brain and that their genetically modifiable properties play an indispensable role in research.

 

Professor Allan V. Kaluev is a member of the “NGS Technology: Current Trends and Developments in Genetics” research group at the Life Sciences Resource Center, Western Caspian University.

 

The researcher Professor Allan V. Kaluev who is the author of more than 300 scientific publications and more than 27,000 citations, is among the top 2% of scientists in the world.
